Paul Griffin is originally from Co. Cork, Ireland. He came to Phoenix Country Club in 2017 after 18 years as an Assistant Golf Professional and Director of Instruction in the New York Metropolitan Section. While growing up in Ireland Paul completed a college Degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications and then went on to complete a Degree in Business and Golf Administration in England while studying and becoming a PGA member. Paul played his college golf in the U.K. and has played on mini tours throughout the U.S along with many State Opens and section tournaments in New York and Arizona. Paul has been married for 11 years to his wife Jessica, a senior writer for Golf Magazine, and they have a 3 year old daughter Zella. When Paul’s away from the club he likes music, movies and travel.
